How the racing auction works

1. 📲Create a game and send the link. Send the link before lights out on race weekend. Everyone joins on their own phone, no account needed.
2. 🔨Bid on one racing driver at a time. Champions from 1952 come up side by side with today's grid. There is only one position, so every lot is a straight fight over pace.
3. 🏟️Choose which three of your drivers race. Each manager runs three cars. Finishing positions score 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8 and down, and the team with the most points wins. The final is one race between the top two teams' six cars, starting from a mixed grid.

What does the racing auction cost?

The racing auction rules in one minute

• Budget: every manager starts with 100M of play money. You always keep enough to fill the rest of your squad, so you can never go broke.
• Squad: 5 drivers: three race and two are reserves.
• Bidding: the clock starts at 10 seconds and every bid restarts it. Tap Pass when you are out, and when everyone has passed the hammer falls straight away.
• Hidden ratings: you never see a racing driver's rating during the auction. You bid on what you know.
• The last manager standing: when everyone else has a full squad, the last manager gets random racing drivers to fill theirs. Bid while you can.
• Lineup: Choose which three of your drivers race. There are no positions to fill, so the whole budget goes on speed. The reserves add only a little.
• The result: a few Grands Prix as a season, then a final race between the top two teams. Most points wins.
