Make your own trivia game in a minute.

Type a theme, and the game is ready. Your friends play on their own phones. Free for up to 4, no sign-up. Start right here:

Free games can be played for 2 days. A Host Pass keeps them forever and lets up to 20 friends join. The game is made by AI, so the scores are estimates. Don't write anything personal: your messages are sent to OpenAI to build the game and are not saved by us (privacy). Games about people you know are not allowed.

Pick a theme to start

Tap one, and the game maker starts with that theme. Or type your own above.

How your trivia game works

  1. Type a theme. Anything well known works: 80s songs, street food, dog breeds, superheroes, famous paintings.
  2. Answer one question. The game maker asks what should win: the most famous, the most popular or the best. Then it builds 36 to 40 picks for your game.
  3. Play with your friends. Everyone joins on their own phone with a code. You all get the same budget and bid live on the picks you think score highest.
  4. See who wins. When the auction is over, every pick gets its score, the weakest first. The highest total wins, and everyone gets a title for how they bid.

Questions

Do my friends need to download an app?

No. They open the link you send or scan the code on your screen, and play in the browser on their own phones. No sign-up.

How is it different from a normal trivia quiz?

Nobody reads out questions. Everyone bids live on the picks they think score highest, and the scores are revealed at the end. The highest total wins.

Are the scores correct?

The scores are AI estimates of things like how famous or how popular a pick is, so you can argue about them. Before you play, a second check removes names that do not exist.

Can I make a game about my friends or my class?

No. Games are only about well-known things, places, works and public figures, so nobody gets hurt.

Can we play it on a TV?

Yes. Open deadlineday.app/tv on the TV or cast it from your phone. Everyone bids from their own phone, and the TV shows the auction and the result.

Can I send my game to someone else?

Yes. When your game is ready, tap "Send to friends". Anyone with the link can play it.
