Three levels in one flag game

  1. Well-known flags. Four flags most people know, to warm up. Faster answers score more.
  2. Look-alike flags. Three flags with a twin, and the twins are among the four choices.
  3. Zoomed in. Three flags that start zoomed in on one small part and zoom out. Guess early for the most points.

A flag quiz for the whole family

Put the game on the TV and everyone answers on their own phone or tablet. A grown-up hosts the room. There is no typing, just four big buttons, so younger players can join in. After each flag the screen shows the country and its capital, so everyone learns something.

Questions

How does the flag quiz work?

Ten flags appear one at a time, and everyone answers on their own phone from four choices. The faster you answer, the more points: up to 1,000 per flag. After each flag you see the country and its capital.

How hard is it?

It gets harder as you go. The first four flags are well-known countries. Then come three look-alikes, like Romania and Chad. The last three start zoomed in on a small part of the flag and zoom out slowly.

Which countries are in it?

All 193 member states of the United Nations, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe. No flag comes twice in the same game.

Is the flag quiz free?

Yes. It is free for up to 4 players, with no sign-up, no download and no ads. A one-time Host Pass (€4.99) opens a room to 20.

Can I play it alone?

Yes. Play alone for the high score, or add computer players who answer against you.

Can we play it as a family on the TV?

Yes. A grown-up opens deadlineday.app/tv on the TV and hosts the game, and everyone joins on their own phone or tablet by scanning the code.
