Then put a price on them: the football auction

Same group, same footballers, more at stake. Football auction

1. 📲Create a game and send the link. Send the link to the five-a-side group, the fantasy league chat or the pub table. Everyone joins on their own phone with the link or a 4-letter code.
2. 🔨Bid on one footballer at a time. Goalkeepers, centre-backs, playmakers and strikers come up one at a time, today's stars mixed with legends in their best season. Bid in steps of 0.5M; every bid puts the clock back to 10 seconds.
3. 🏟️Pick a shape when the hammer has fallen for the last time. The match is played out live, chance by chance, and the stronger XI wins. With three or more managers you play a full season, home and away, and the top two meet in a final.

More football games for the same group

• 🔨The live auction. Everyone gets 100M and bids for the same footballers. Build the stronger XI and win.
• 🕵️Guess the player. Six clues about a mystery footballer, one at a time. Name them first — a wrong guess hands everyone else the point.
• ❤️This or That. Two footballers, same position, same era. One of you picks in secret, the rest guess which.

Why football fans keep playing Imposter

• 💡A football tip. As the imposter, a goalkeeper or centre-back is the easiest to fake: say "tall", "calm" or "leader" and you blend in. A winger is harder.
• 🎭Bluffing is the skill. The imposter has to sound like a footballer expert with nothing but a position and a flag.
• 🗣️Built for the same room. Say your word out loud on the sofa, or type it when you play apart.
• 👥3 to 8 players. Free for up to 4, Host Pass for bigger groups.
• 🔎One last chance. A caught imposter can still steal a point by naming the player.
• 🚫No ads. Ever. Just the word, the vote and the accusations.
