DeadlineDay
For festivals and live events

Keep the crowd at your stage between bands.

Put a live football auction on the big screen in the changeover. The crowd scans one QR code and plays in teams on their phones. €99 for the whole festival weekend.

📺 Open the big screen and try it now

One payment, no subscription. Your audience needs no app and pays nothing.

Why the crowd stays

  • The changeover becomes part of the show. Instead of drifting off to the next stage, people stay in front of your screen and play.
  • The crowd plays against itself. The game splits everyone who scans into teams, so the left side of the field bids against the right side.
  • One round fits one break. A quick draft takes 5 to 10 minutes, and the winner is on screen before the next band starts.
  • It works with the sound off. The big screen shows every bid, the countdown and "SOLD!" in large type, so the PA can stay on the stage music.

How it runs in a changeover

  1. Open deadlineday.app/tv on the stage screen. Any browser on the screen, or a laptop on the video feed. One big QR code appears.
  2. The crowd scans it and writes a name. The game puts each phone on one of up to 8 teams and keeps the teams even. No app and no sign-up.
  3. The crowd bids on football stars. Every team has 100M. Players come up one by one, the screen shows who bid, and the strongest squad wins the match.

What the Event Pass gives your festival

  • Built for a crowd. Up to 8 teams, and hundreds of phones on each team.
  • 72 hours of games. Enough for a Friday-to-Sunday festival. The clock starts at your first round with more than 12 phones, so a test before the gates open does not use it up.
  • Not only football. Music auctions with real songs and albums, plus basketball, ice hockey and more.

€99 for the whole festival weekend.

One payment with VAT included. No subscription and nothing to cancel. Your audience pays nothing.

Want to try it first? Team play is free for up to 4 teams. Open the big screen and play a round with your crew.

Questions organisers ask

Does the audience pay anything?

No. People scan the QR code on the screen and play in their phone's browser. No app, no sign-up and nothing to buy.

How many people can play?

Up to 8 teams, and hundreds of phones on each team. The game spreads new phones over the teams, so they stay even.

What if the mobile network is crowded?

Every phone needs a connection to play. On a busy festival field the mobile network can be slow, so put free wifi near the screen if you can, and test a round at the screen before the gates open.

How long does a round take?

A quick draft takes 5 to 10 minutes, so one round fits one changeover. A full auction with the match takes 30 to 45 minutes.

What do we need?

A screen the crowd can see with a browser on it, and one phone to start each round. Buy the Event Pass on that phone, because the pass stays on the device you buy it on.

Is it gambling?

No. There is no real money and no betting in the game. Every team gets the same pretend budget, and the best squad wins the match on screen.

Can I pay in my own currency?

Yes. The price is €99, and the checkout shows it in your local currency when you pay from outside the euro area.
