How the funny shorts game works
- Send one link to your group chat. Everyone joins on their own phone, with no app and no sign-up. On the same sofa? Open deadlineday.app/tv on the TV, and everyone scans the code.
- Everyone gets 100M of play money. The shorts come up one at a time, and you bid live on your phone.
- Watch each short while you bid. Turn on "Watch shorts", and the TV (or the host's phone) plays it from YouTube.
- The real views decide. The view counts are revealed from the smallest up, and the most views in total wins.
Funny videos to watch with friends, with a winner
- You watch them together. Each short plays while you bid, so the whole room laughs at the same video.
- You bet on what went viral. You do not need to know the short. Watch it, and bid on whether the rest of the world loved it too.
- The real view counts decide. Every short brings its real number of views on YouTube, and the biggest total wins.

Is this made by YouTube?
No. Deadline Day is an independent party game made by AddonNordic ApS in Denmark. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
Can we play it on the TV?
Yes. Open deadlineday.app/tv in the TV's browser, or on a laptop connected to the TV, and everyone scans the code with their phone. The TV shows the auction and plays each short if the host turns it on.
What kind of shorts are in it?
Animals, fails and pranks in English or with no words at all. We left out shorts made for children and anything with weapons, danger or jokes at someone's expense.
Is it for kids?
Deadline Day is not made for children under 13. The shorts are real YouTube videos picked for a group of friends.
Is there real money involved?
No. Everyone bids with 100M of play money, and nothing can be won or lost.
