Football Charades — play it with your friends

Then put a price on them: the football auction

Same group, same footballers, more at stake. Football auction

1. 📲Create a game and send the link. Send the link to the five-a-side group, the fantasy league chat or the pub table. Everyone joins on their own phone with the link or a 4-letter code.
2. 🔨Bid on one footballer at a time. Goalkeepers, centre-backs, playmakers and strikers come up one at a time, today's stars mixed with legends in their best season. Bid in steps of 0.5M; every bid puts the clock back to 10 seconds.
3. 🏟️Pick a shape when the hammer has fallen for the last time. The match is played out live, chance by chance, and the stronger XI wins. With three or more managers you play a full season, home and away, and the top two meet in a final.

More football games for the same group

• 🔨The live auction. Everyone gets 100M and bids for the same footballers. Build the stronger XI and win.
• 🕵️Guess the player. Six clues about a mystery footballer, one at a time. Name them first — a wrong guess hands everyone else the point.
• ❤️This or That. Two footballers, same position, same era. One of you picks in secret, the rest guess which.
• 🎭Imposter. Everyone gets the same footballer except one bluffer. One word each, then vote.
• 📊Blind Ranking. Five footballers, one at a time. Rank each before you see the next, and no moving.

Why football fans keep playing Charades

• 💡A football tip. Act the celebration, not the face: a knee slide, a backflip, a finger to the lips. Everyone knows those.
• 🤐No talking. Only the actor's phone shows the footballer. Everyone else watches and shouts.
• ⏱️60 seconds a turn. Act as many as you can. The actor taps who got it, and both score a point.
• ⭐Names everyone knows. The game picks well-known footballers, legends and today's stars.
• 🎬Best actor and fastest guesser. Both get named at the end, together with the winner.
• 🚫No ads. Ever. Just you, the name and a lot of arm waving.
