How the movie trailer game works
- Send one link to your group chat. Everyone joins on their own phone, with no app and no sign-up. On the same sofa? Open deadlineday.app/tv on the TV, and everyone scans the code.
- Everyone gets 100M of play money. The trailers come up one at a time, and you bid live on your phone.
- Watch each trailer while you bid. Turn on "Watch trailers", and the TV (or the host's phone) plays it from YouTube.
- The real views decide. The view counts are revealed from the smallest up, and the most views in total wins.
A game night everyone can play
- You watch them together. Each trailer plays on the TV while you bid, so the whole room is in the same movie.
- You do not need to be a film buff. Watch the trailer and bid on whether the rest of the world wanted to see it too.
- The real views decide. Every trailer brings its real number of views on YouTube, and the biggest total wins the night.
Which trailers are in it?
250 of the most-watched official movie trailers, from superhero blockbusters to horror and animation, all from the film studios' own channels.
What does it cost?
- Up to 4 friends
- Every trailer in the game
- No sign-up, no download, no ads
- Up to 8 friends
- Every game you host on that device
- No subscription — your friends never pay
